Glacier National Park: Kintla Lake Dragonfly 1000 Piece Puzzle

Kintla Lake surrounded by towering mountains is over 8 miles in length and up to a mile wide and is the fourth largest lake in the park. For those who canoe and kayak, Kintla Lake is a paddlers paradise; no motorcraft is allowed. Fisherman will also enjoy Kintla Lake for the trout found in it. And if you like to hike, don’t forget to pack your boots, as day hikes and extended trips into the backcountry can be found near the campground. Kintla Lake campground is Glacier National Park’s most remote frontcountry and car camping campground. It is located in the upper most northwest section of the park known as the North Fork, approximately 40 miles from the West Entrance and the Canadian border. Though the drive is very slow and bumpy on dirt roads, the scenery along the way is spectacular. Part of the drive takes you through the tiny community of Polebridge, and sections of the park that notably burned in 1988 and 2003. The Polebridge Mercantile is a mandatory stop on the way in for a world famous protein packed Huckleberry Bear Claw fresh out of the oven!
Due to it’s remote location, the campground is very quiet and is very rarely filled, offering tent campers a sense of solitude. The campground sits on Kintla Lake and is surrounded by trees, providing shade, cover, and filtered views of the lake and the mountains that circle it. A hand pump is available for potable water, and pit toilets are located in the campground as well. Limited amenities can be found in Polebridge. I hiked about 3 miles up the trail running alongside the lake, and have never been so at peace. The only sound i heard was the Dragonfly who agreed to pose for this photo!
All of our 1000 Piece puzzles measure 27.6 x 19.7 inches when completed. They are cut with an irregular piece shape to aid and strenthen your assembly quest, as well as produce an interlock so tight you can pick it up and flip it over (gently) without losing a piece. (Watch this and see!) They are manufactured using 100% Recycled Grade A chipboard, 1/16 inch thick resulting in sturdy, durable pieces that wont bend or break easily, and mated to a premium Matte finished print. They are then cut using 2 different presses, each going a different direction. This ensures your pieces are always fully cut, not stuck together so you have to tear them apart, damaging your pieces. (Click here for brief video) The end result is a puzzle worthy of being framed and hung in your living room! And we are working on a plan to offer handmade (right in our warehouse) wooden frames in a variety of colors and styles so you can do just that!
